Lenovo has released its new dual camera mobile phone in India. It is the successor to its K8 series. Its name is Lenovo K8 Plus. This smartphone has the features of Dolby Atmos sound and a 13-megapixel dual camera. Its specifications include a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS display. This mobile phone runs the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. It is made by an Octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 SoC. Its RAM is 3GB. Its internal storage is 32GB and expansion in it can be made up to 128GB. 

This year, Lenovo’s biggest news was to shift to stock Android for its smartphones. It is a very useful update for the users of Lenovo smartphones. On the Support page of the official website, the company has updated its “Upgrade plan for smartphones” list. It has added the Lenovo K8 series. All of K8 series is promised to be updated by Android 8.0 Oreo. Lenovo K8, Lenovo K8 Note, and Lenovo K8 Plus will be updated by Android O. The Chinese company will launch the update about the Lenovo K8 and Lenovo K8 Note by June 2018. The Lenovo K8 Plus will be launched in July 2018.

The users of Lenovo K8, K8 Note, and K8 Plus need to wait patiently for the update. Apart from performance and stability advantages, the mobile phones run stock Android that was also supposed to enable faster update releases. The company is busy in working with its hardware partners. So, it will make minimal tweaks in order to produce Oreo builds for the above-mentioned smartphones.
